Coquelicot was a big favorite of mine for a very long time. The print is quite low-key, at least by my standards, with an emphasis on gray silhouettes and shadows, and only a few actual poppies in full bloom.
But then again, isn't the poppy about a million times more valuable before it blossoms?
Relaxed but a bit sophisticated, flattering and flirty without going overboard... a few variations on hemline and sleeve length, and I could wear this cut every day of the week.
I know, I know. Dressopotamia would suffer, and we can't have that.
But doesn't the twisty neckline make you wonder if maybe, just maybe, we could pull this off?
You did read the bit saying I've had Coquelicot since June 2001, right? Things happen.

So pretty! I love that print- it must have been really expensive to produce because it's a border print and it has a ton of shades of colors in it. And the neckline is great because it has the chest enhancement of a wrap dress but it probably doesn't move around or cut in odd places.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ayesha! I'm not sure if it actually is a border print, because the bright bits seem to pop up in random places. I think it might just be really large...
